This little sleek and shiny fella is Casey.  Casey began life at Smokey Acres as a very frightened feral kitten in July 2014.  Following treatment with the TNR program at The Humane Society of Huron Valley, Casey and his brother, Finnegan, returned to our Smokey Acres home.  Casey’s mother was returned to her very feral lifestyle but, the two brothers have joined the family.

Silly Casey remains confused about his status in the world.  Sometimes he absolutely loves on us with tiny, sweet meows and rubs allowing for cuddles and kisses and then other times, he fear-hates us with hisses and scratches.  Of course, his hard-to-get game only makes him more desirable to us!  We are grateful for any time that he allows us to smother him with affection.
