Our little Finny Boy came to us as a tiny feral kitten in July of 2014. We trapped Finnegan, his brother, Casey, and their mother outside our barn on the back of the property. The Humane Society of Huron Valley accepted Finnegan and his family into their Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program. Finnegan’s mother was entirely too feral to live in a home setting; therefore, we returned her to our barn but, Casey and Finnegan were partially rehabilitated and remain with us to date.
After TNR, Finny became ill and we nursed him back to health with the help of our veterinarians. Because Finny received so much loving while he was too weak to mind, he became quite cuddly. We enjoy his sweet face and lush grey fur that reminds us very much of our beloved Smokey Boy.
