This little darling is Bella! She was born in the spring of 2016 and living with her family in the greater Lansing area. When she visited the veterinarian for the first time, Bella tested positive for FeLV. Bella’s family was unable to keep her; however, veterinarian Kendra Williams fell for her. Dr. Williams took Bella into her own home and completed her veterinary care. By the time Dr. Williams requested placement for Bella with Smokey Acres, this little ball of love was ripe for her permanent family.
Bella has been one of our easiest transitions. Within 24 hours of arrival, Bella was scooting all over the sanctuary making new friends. Her favorite play partner is Twerp. They wrestle, race, and chase. She even has a few of our older residents engaged in play which makes us very happy. Bella is so very sweet and innocent. We are grateful to have her with us for as long as she is willing to stay.
