Little Scrappy Doo was a March 2013 kitten who managed to thrive despite the leukemia virus transmitted to him from his mother.  He joined Smokey Acres in November of that same year and stayed with us, amazingly, until January of 2015.  Sweet Scrappy was yet another rescue by our friend, Chris Shelton.

Scrappy was especially fond of our resident dogs and snuggled with them often.  We guess that neither him nor the dogs received the memo that German Shepherds don’t like cats!
