This little sweetie is Acorn whom we most lovingly call our little “Bird.” Acorn was born in May, 2018 under a backyard deck in Grand Blanc, Michigan with 14 other kittens from a total of 3 different litters. The home owner managed to trap-spay and return the 3 mother cats before he captured all 15 of the kittens. Unfortunately, all 15 kittens were leukemia positive and one died shortly afterwards. Our new friend at Best Buddy Pet Rescue, Ceree Mills, managed to find placement for all 14 remaining kittens including Acorn and Peanut who came to us at Smokey Acres. As with all kittens that join us, Acorn blended right into the colony without any drama.
