Boris is another cat who made his way to Smokey Acres through Bloom Animal Hospital (BAH.)  BAH veterinary
technician, Marcy Wrobleski, rescued Boris from a cold and hungry street life in Detroit.  When Boris tested positive for FIV, he came to us.

Smokey was living when Boris came along and these two cats sustained a pleasant relationship despite Boris’ rather cranky demeanor.  We quickly learned that Boris enjoyed his humans at a distance and we were happy to oblige.

Boris was elderly and didn’t stay for more than a few years before kidney failure took him from us.  He serves as yet another example of a cat who lived a perfectly normal life despite FIV.
