This scamper cat is Daisy who has been with us for several years.  Daisy is one of the cats that came to us via our friends at Bloom Animal Hospital (BAH.)  She was a neighborhood stray rescued by another BAH client, Lynda Stanecki, in March of 2012.  Lynda intended to keep Daisy but, was heartbroken when she tested positive for FeLV making her a risk for Lynda’s other three cats.  Luckily, Dr. Bloom once again offered to provide veterinary care and we could accommodate.  She has been with us since.

Daisy is another of our cats who once tested positive but, now tests negative for leukemia.  She stays with us and successfully lives healthy amongst her FeLV and FIV positive roommates.

Daisy is a very vocal lady who makes certain that we know when she is hungry, displeased or wants to be scratched.  She is one of those sassy cats that scampers away when you try to catch her for snuggles but, will gladly approach you when she is ready for some attention.  She has the eternal candy cane shaped tail of happiness.
